SECURITY AT VANTAGE FX
Vantage FX is a licensed and regulated CFD and foreign exchange broker. The firm manages three entities which are licensed and regulated in various jurisdictions as follows:
- Vantage Global Prime Pty Ltd trading under Vantage FX, is regulated by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC). The company holds an Australian Financial Services license (AFSL no. 429801).

CHARGES AND MARGINS AT VANTAGE FX
Vantage FX offers a choice between two unique trading account types, which come with different advantages and features. Clients can choose between a Standard (STP) and Raw (ECN) account type, then further select from MT4, MT5 and MarketTrader Forex trading platforms, as well as the popular social trading platform ZuluTrade.
A minimum deposit requirement is set to $200 (AUD or base currency equivalent) for the Standard account type and $500 for the Raw account type. Clients have a choice of between eight different account base currencies.
Traders can choose from 70 currency pairs, 10 stock index CFDs, six cryptocurrency CFDs (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, Litecoin, Dash and BitcoinCash), precious metals, energies and soft commodities.
Leverage can be set as high as 500:1 on both Vantage FX account types.
Vantage FX guarantee no spread markup charges on their Raw (ECN) account – the spreads a client sees are final. Instead, a commission of $3 is applied per lot (round-turn). The Standard (STP) account option runs without commission but a spread markup is applied to each trade.
Spreads start from 0.0 Pips with the Raw ECN account type and 1.0 Pips on the Standard account type.
TECHNOLOGY
Vantage FX clients have 15 trading platforms to choose from. Well, to be completely clear, it’s actually four trading platforms that can be used for both trading account types – Standard (STP) and Raw (ECN) – and on pretty much any device known to man.
All Vantage FX forex trading platforms have a real-time two-way connection to MT4 and MT5. All of their forex trading software update simultaneously, meaning that traders can open, close, place and amend live positions or pending orders in real-time on a desktop. All of this can be achieved via any web browser or directly from any smartphone/iPhone or iPad.
Another platform supported by Vantage FX is MarketTrader, a fairly new web-based trading platform. This platform can be utilized in conjunction with MT4 to allow for higher performance, superior charting and increased stability. Furthermore, it uses all the advantages of the brand new, upgraded fibre-optic Vantage FX infrastructure for MT4.
Clients interested in social trading have access to the ZuluTrade platform and its network of traders, which allows them to copy-trade with other investors that are also using the platform.
Vantage FX further provides a massive stack of free trading tools to the dedicated trader. For example, a $1,000 deposit gives access to the SmartTrader tools package for MT4. This set of professional trader toolsets allows for another dimension of trading thanks to its various alarm types, matrix correlation applications, session maps and so forth.
